Q.What forms of payment do you accept?
A.We accept all major credit cards via our convenient payment link in the electronic invoice! You may also pay with cash or a check. Dispatch may also set up an account for you if you need payment terms or expect high volume and need batch invoicing.
Q.What types of waste are not allowed in the dumpster?
A.While our dumpsters can handle a wide variety of waste types, we do not accept hazardous materials, including but not limited to asbestos, sealed tanks/drums, propane tanks and pesticides. Items that contain freon (refrigerators, AC units, and freezers), tires, and mattresses and large upholstered furniture will cost extra. This is due to how the landfill must process them. More details can be found by speaking with our dispatch or in the service contract emailed to you when booking.
Q. What happens if I exceed the weight limit of the dumpster?
A.At JW and Company, we strongly believe in fairness and transparency. Our pricing model is built on a ‘pay for what you use’ principle. If your load exceeds the dumpster’s weight limit, you won’t be charged a flat overage fee. Instead, you’ll only pay the additional cost for the extra weight at $8.50 each tenth of a ton (200 lbs.) over the included 2 tons. If the dumpster is severely overloaded it may require unpacking and reloading into another container. This can be avoided by telling our knowledgeable dispatch what you plan to load and they will direct you to the best option.
Q.Do I need to be present when the dumpster is delivered?
A.No. It is not required for the renter to be present when the dumpster is delivered. Please make sure any special instructions are given to dispatch at the time of renting the dumpster.
Q.Can I get a Load N' Go? Meaning, can we load the dumpster while your dumpster and driver wait and take it when we are done?
A.Yes! Please inform dispatch so they can plan the driver's route accordingly. Need help loading? Ask about our skid steer rental with many different attachments to load any debris you need removed.
Q.Do you deliver the dumpster at a certain time or how will we know when the dumpster will be delivered?
A.Typically we only guarantee the day it will be delivered, not the exact time. However we understand you may have other deliveries or reasons for needing the dumpster guaranteed in a certain time window. If this is the case let dispatch know and we can send delivery updates and time windows to help you plan ahead.
Q.What happens if the dumpster is damaged in my possession?
A.Life happens sometimes! Our dumpsters are durable and well built, however should an incident occur do not panic, call our dispatch and let them know. Minor damages can sometimes be repaired at no charge. Severe damage will incur a service fee however we will be transparent and work with you so neither party is stuck in a bind.
Q.I need to get rid of concrete, dirt, rock, or other heavy material, do you have options for that?
A.Yes! We have 8 cubic yard dumpsters specifically for this. Ask dispatch if you need this option or help loading using our skid steer and skilled equipment operator.
